The latest Australian Wool Production Forecasting Committee’s forecast of shorn wool production for 2024/25 is 280.1 Mkg greasy, an 11.8% decrease on the 2023/24 estimate. The AWPFC’s first forecast of shorn wool production for the 2025/26 season is 256.6 Mkg greasy, an 8.4% decrease on the 2024/25 forecast.
